So, over the past year I've decided that Jr. Highers are the most ridiculous people on the planet. They are crazy and are going through puberty and crazy and smelly and just plain crazy...but I love them. They also say the most RIDICULOUS things I've EVER heard. Here are a few of my favorites...
"Miss. K, do you know how to shake that 'Laffy Taffy'?"
...After we just finished a unit on Tasers.
Me:"So, did anyone get Tased this weekend?"(joking)
Jr. Higher:"My dad did!!!"
...I have to preface this one. I constantly have to ask if there is anything in my teeth or on my face to anyone standing next to me because apparently I have a can't-go-on-in-life-if-there-is-something-in-my-teeth-or-on-my-face phobia. A kid who used to be my student in Summer Enrichment walked by and as I said "hi" I asked ...
Me:"Hey, is there anything in my teeth or on my face?"
Kid:"No, you're good, but it's funny you ask me that the first day I see you this summer because the first day I met you last summer you asked me if you had a bug in your nose."
...I almost peed my pants laughing when he said that.
